Hey, I’m Mya — traveler, storyteller, and freedom-chaser.
I’m Mya. Three years ago, I said goodbye to my corporate job and devoted myself to full-time travel. Since then, I’ve crewed a ferry boat on the Tigris River, slept in temples in Laos, climbed Machu Picchu (twice), and met thousands of amazing people across six continents.
Travel has enriched my life in ways that my stable paycheck never could and it’s my mission to teach others how they can stop saving for vacations and instead live that way all year round. From simple lifestyle modifications to advice on landing a temporary job in your country of choice, I want to show you how this life isn’t just for the insanely wealthy.
What else? I grew up in Santa Cruz, earned an MBA from a top business school, and my dream date is a camel ride through the Western Sahara. Hope to see you out on the road.
